Brow & Lash Tinting:
Tips for achieving an optimal tinting result:
Q: I want to shape and tint the brows. Which service should I perform first?
Q: Are all of the Hairpearl shades mixable?
Yes, it’s possible to mix the colors to create unique, customizable shades to suit your clients desired color.
Q: How long should I leave the eyebrow tint on?
Q: What is the processing time when tinting lashes?
Q: What are the benefits of tinting lashes?
Q: I have stained the skin, what can I do?
Q: Is there an ideal sitting position during Lash & Brow Styling?
Q: Should I perform an allergy test?
Instructions for tint patch test: Mix 1 cm of Hairpearl eyelash & eyebrow tint with the Hairpearl Cream Developer (ratio 1:1). Apply a small amount to a small area on the inner bend of the elbow or behind the ear. Allow to dry and leave uncovered for 48-72 hours, then clean thoroughly. If any irritation occurs during this time, the client is not eligible for the treatment.
Q: Dyed hair needs care. Does this also apply to tinted lashes and brows?
Yes, for ideal and longer-lasting results, we recommend using the Biosmetics Lash & Brow Moist Pen (Brush) following the tint or lift service. Apply to lashes and brows twice a day for a week (or ongoing basis) as a conditioning aftercare treatment.
Q: Can I use oxidative tints on pregnant clients?
Q: How do I achieve an even result with eyelash lifting?
Q: The Bonder is not holding the lashes down when applying the lifting lotions. What can I do?
The Bonder is water soluble, therefore a warm, humid environment (room) may impact the strength of the bonder.
- In cases where the lashes “peel up“ from the Silicone Pads, you can reaffix them with the Bonder. In practice: when lashes peel up while removing lotion no 1 (Waving Lotion), reaffix them with the Lash Bond before applying lotion no 2 (Neutralizer). In any case: be sure to comb the lashes quite tight with the y-brush or your preferred tool when bonding them onto the silicone pads. This creates the perfect lift effect.
