Take heed! To ensure a successful waxing experience for your clients, please be mindful of the following guidelines:
- Avoid sun exposure before and after a wax procedure as skin sensitivity is enhanced by UV rays and subject to burn
- Only wax intact skins
- Avoid wax procedures on irritated , broken, or sun-burned skins
- Avoid wax procedures on moles, warts, distended capillaries, nipples, eyelashes
- Do not wax clients who are insulin-dependent diabetics, or using certain medications that would render their skins more sensitive to epilation procedures
- Do NOT wax clients using Accutane or any prescription Acne Medication.
